Frequently asked questions.

What is the Dress Code?

Aloha attire, tropical formal, or semi-formal dress is encouraged featuring muted tropical florals or pastels. Breathable fabrics such as cotton or linen will keep you comfortable in Hawaii’s humidity. No denim please. Our venue is mostly outdoor with a combination of grass and concrete underfoot so comfortable footwear such as sandals, wedges, or dressy flip flops are encouraged. A light sweater or jacket is also recommended for after sunset.

When should I RSVP by?

Please RSVP by June 15th, 2026.

What time should I arrive?

We ask that guests arrive by 3:45pm. The Ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00pm.

What will the weather be like?

The beautiful Holualoa Inn rests at approximately 1400 feet in elevation offering a slightly cooler air temperature than Kailua-Kona. Normal September daytime temperatures hover in the low 80s with a slight cool off to the high 60s at night. Humidity remains high and afternoon rain showers are common. Holualoa is surrounded by lush and beautiful tropical vegetation creating a perfect backdrop for Olivia and Andrew’s ceremony. Being prepared with a rain jacket and bug spray is a good idea. The Ceremony will be outdoors and the Reception will be under cover.

Where do we park?

The Holualoa Inn provides parking for guests on site and only a one minute walk from the ceremony location.  We recommend carpooling whenever possible to ensure all our guests have a space to park. If you plan to indulge please rely on Uber or Lyft.

Can I bring a “Plus one”?

Only those addressed on your wedding invitation are welcome to join. We have done our best to make sure all our friends, family, and loved ones are able to celebrate with us however the Holualoa Inn estate has strict limits on how many people can be in attendance. Don’t hesitate to reach out if you have a specific question regarding your invitation.

Are Children allowed?

Children under the age of 10 are not permitted. Although we love all your little ones we have chosen this night to be an age restricted celebration. We hope you can use this night as a time to let your hair down and celebrate with us accordingly.

Can I bring my Camera?

We know many of our friends and family are incredible photographers capable of producing amazing images  however, we kindly ask that you leave the cameras at home and leave the hard work to the professionals. Recording photos and videos on your phone is perfectly acceptable.
